I opened Imagine That! in October 1990 in my home town, Elmira, NY. As Imagine That! grew, we moved and in April 2000, opened in the historic Gaffer District on Market Street, in Corning, NY. Today we feature award winning toys, fabulous boutique fashions, and heirloom christening gowns, dancewear and a wonderful selection of baby gifts.

My staff and I have a passion for creative play for children of all ages. Our success lies in the vision that all children are creative souls. We provide the tools to enhance their natural sense of curiosity. Children can, and do learn through board games, puzzles, construction toys, dolls, art supplies, music, and of course books.

Play is how children have fun, acquire skills, experience success and build self-esteem. Through play, children figure out the world and where they fit in. Our toys cater to kid’s success, as they are fun and imaginative! It’s our goal to fill the store with great toys!

We also carry the finest children’s clothing from layette to size 4 T for boys and through size 6X for girls. Our fashions are designed by the best in the children’s business. Comfy, cozy, colorful, stylish and fun – that’s our great selection!

I’m proud to say that in 1996 I won the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year. In 2001 Imagine That! won Corning’s PAN Award for sign design.

Thanks to my great husband, my wonderful staff and the customers we know and love – we’re now into our 18^th year of great fun and fashion!
